Qualifications

• 1–2 years of cleaning or environmental service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and products.
• Understanding of infection control and safety standards.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment effectively and safely.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with staff, patients, and visitors.
• Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift/move objects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and sanitizes assigned areas per infection control standards.
• Sweeps, mops, vacuums, and dusts floors, furniture, and equipment.
• Maintains hard and carpeted surfaces; performs maintenance per procedures.
• Washes walls, ceilings, windows, and other surfaces to maintain hygiene.
• Restocks supplies and monitors inventory; reports shortages.
• Handles trash and biohazardous materials safely per safety protocols.
• Operates and maintains cleaning equipment and reports malfunctions.
• Assists with minor repairs and reports larger facility issues.
• Performs other duties; maintains regular attendance.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
