Job summary

Banner Rehabilitation Hospital in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to maintain a clean and safe hospital environment. The role is full-time, 11:00 am–7:30 pm with rotating weekends and holidays, and compensation ranges from $17.50 to $23.55 per hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities include housekeeping across patient rooms, offices, lounges, and common areas, reporting unsafe conditions, and replenishing supplies.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience required.
• High School degree or equivalent preferred.
• Previous hospital EVS experience preferred.

• Report unsafe conditions to supervisor to help maintain a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment in assigned areas, which may include patient rooms, offices, nurse’s stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators and lobby area.
• Assists in maintaining a safe environment by reporting unsafe conditions immediately to supervisor or appropriate department.
• Replenishes supplies including soap, towels and toilet tissue, as well as other disposable items.
