Job summary

Grand Lake Health System is seeking a part-time Housekeeper for the 3:00pm – 11:30pm shift. You will clean patient care areas, administration and public spaces, and ensure proper waste disposal. This role requires weekend availability on an every-other weekend basis and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Applicants with prior cleaning experience are preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform full-body motions is required.

Qualifications

• Occasionally must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning duties in Administration, patient care areas, public areas, supply/storage rooms, and ensures proper disposal of solid and infectious waste.
• Orders cleaning supplies, paper products, and plastic liners as needed per assigned work area.
• Performs all other duties to ensure the department meets its responsibilities to the patient, customer, and Hospital Mission.

Duties and Key Responsibilities

• Orders cleaning supplies, paper products, and plastic liners as needed per assigned work area.
• Performs all other duties assigned to ensure the department meets its responsibilities to the patient, customer, and Hospital Mission.
