EVS Techs are responsible for providing a safe care environment for patients and staff (visitors as appropriate to setting) within their assigned area(s). This is achieved by demonstrating the principles of cleaning, disinfection, and quality assurance to reduce harmful pathogens, benefiting patients, visitors, and staff. The EVS Tech will have contact with patients and visitors, including educational and safety-related interactions appropriate to the demographics served. They are responsible for ensuring timely room turns related to patient throughput, following environmental hygiene and infection prevention principles. The environmental services technician contributes to cleaning, disinfection, infection prevention, and enhancing patient experience in accordance with organizational standards.

Salary Range: USD $20.00 - USD $22.06 per hour.
