Job summary

Kootenai Health is seeking an Environmental Services Tech I (Housekeeper) to maintain clean, safe patient areas in a hospital setting. You will perform routine cleaning, operate cleaning equipment, and support infection prevention protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides routine daily cleaning of assigned areas
• Cleans patient discharge rooms, operating and sterile procedure rooms
• Transports waste, recyclables, and biohazard wastes, disposing as appropriate
• Maintains cleanliness of environmental services equipment and housekeeping closet
• Follows all environmental and infection prevention practices (hand hygiene, PPE)
