Daviess Community Hospital is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to maintain clean, safe patient areas and support hospital operations in Indiana.

This position requires effective English communication, basic computer skills, and the ability to work a 7:00am–3:30pm shift with every other weekend and holiday. Roles may be located in the hospital or clinics, with responsibilities spanning patient rooms, nursing units, and public spaces.

Formación

• Experience cleaning in a hospital or clinic setting preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Driver's license required for clinic staff.
• Able to communicate effectively, in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and multi-task.
• Effective communication with staff, guests and patients.

Responsabilidades

• Ensures routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices and clinical areas.
• Cleans waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators and stairways to stay clean and sanitary.
• Roles may be located at the hospital or clinics and require HIPAA compliance.
• Communicates effectively with staff, guests and patients to maintain cleanliness standards.

Description

Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm

Hours: 40 Hours/Week

**This position requires every other weekend and holiday.

The Environmental Services Technician ensures routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators and stairways stay clean, neat and sanitary. This role can be located at the hospital or clinics.

Requirements

• Experience cleaning in a hospital or clinic setting preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Driver's license required for clinic staff.
• Able to communicate effectively, in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Additional languages preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Knowledge of applicable cleaning equipment, supplies, and chemicals.
• Understands HIPAA compliance.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and multi-task.
• Effective communication skills with all staff, guests, and patients.
