Job summary

CommonSpirit Health's St. John's Medical Center in Oxnard, CA seeks an Environmental Services Tech to maintain sanitary conditions across campuses. You will clean patient rooms, exam rooms, restrooms, and common areas, following infection-control standards.

You will safely handle waste, including biohazard materials, operate floor scrubbers and vacuums, and replenish supplies while responding to staff cleaning needs. This on-site role supports a safe, patient-centered environment.

*Job Summary and Responsibilities*
As our Environmental Services Tech, you will actively perform a variety of cleaning tasks necessary to maintain and improve the appearance and sanitary conditions of all campuses.
Every day, you will clean and disinfect patient rooms, exam rooms, restrooms, and common areas following hospital infection-control standards. Safely handle, transport, and dispose of bio-hazard waste, regular trash, and linens according to regulatory guidelines.
To be successful in this role, you will operate cleaning equipment including floor scrubbers, vacuums, and disinfectant sprayers.
