Schedule: Full Time

Shift: Midshift (3 pm to 11:30 PM)

The community you’ll be caring for: 605 LIVE OAK ST, New Smyrna Beach, 32168

The role you’ll contribute:

Provides supervision for the daily functions and activities within the environmental services department. Responsible for supervising EVS staff to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness are met for the hospital and adjacent facilities. Promotes teamwork to ensure work is completed timely and helps maintain an efficient and safe working environment. Assumes responsibility for day, evening, or night shift operation of the EVS department and related responsibilities.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Supervises/monitors staff to ensure proper work performance
• May create and review schedules; approves scheduling requests
• Documents all work performed, such as Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
• Regularly surveys departmental procedures for adherence to acceptable cleaning practices
• Supervises staff by assigning work, training, hiring, evaluating performance, applying progressive discipline, and recommending termination as appropriate

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• High School diploma or equivalent and relevant experience
• Two years of technical experience
