Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Typically requires 2 years of environmental services experience.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification within 6 months.
• Strong management and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Ensure infection prevention practices to provide a safe environment.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal guidelines and regulatory practices.
• Perform quality measurement, monitoring, and improvement initiatives.
• Provide a consistent level of service in cleanliness and customer service.
• Foster internal customer satisfaction through positive relationships and reliable service.
• Drive operational outcomes aligned with site/system scope of service.
• Monitor staffing, workflow, and throughput to maximize productivity and satisfaction.
• Schedule and monitor daily staffing to demand to minimize waste.
• HR responsibilities including coaching, performance reviews, morale, hiring, and promotions.
• Adhere to the Code of Ethical Conduct and applicable laws and policies.
