Responsibilities

• Schedule and supervise housekeeping and laundry staff for rooms, offices, treatment areas, and linen services.
• Interview, hire, train, and evaluate staff performance.
• Ensure compliance with policies and document performance issues.
• Develop and manage a master cleaning schedule.
• Coordinate housekeeping and linen with facility activities.
• Support infection control through environmental sampling as needed.
• Monitor quality standards and maintain housekeeping procedures.
• Establish policies for cleaning and waste disposal.
• Organize staff response to isolation procedures and manage personnel actions.
• Manage supplies, requisition, and inventory of housekeeping and linen items.
• Oversee receipt and distribution of clean linen; notify maintenance of repairs.
• Prepare department and management reports; ensure regulatory compliance.
