IMC is currently has an opening for our Environmental Services (Housekeeping) Supervisor position for our evening shift, from 2:30pm - 10:30pm, Main Campus. This position will be responsible for performing routine cleaning of patient rooms,nursing units, offices, and clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges,rest rooms, corridors, elevators and stairways in a clean, neat and sanitarymanner. Includes buffing floors as needed.Performs all assigned tasks in a professionalmanner in order to reflect the highest integrity of the Environmental ServicesDepartment.

WORK HOURS:

  • Evening Shift
  • 2:30pm - 10:30pm
  • Main Campus

EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous supervisorexperience and current hospital experience is desired.
  • One to three (1-3) years relatedexperience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education andexperience preferred

PRINCIPAL TASKS, DUTIES, & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs all aspects of assigned tasks in a manner that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.
  • Maintains set quality standards whenperforming job duties.
  • Ability to work day, evening or night shift as assigned.
  • Ability to do work on his/her own with normal supervision.
  • Observes safety precautions at all times.
  • Maintains and ensures age-specific precautions.
  • Supports and maintains a culture of safety and quality.
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Adheres to dress code. Appearance is neat and clean
  • Completes annual education requirements.
  • Maintains regulatory requirements.
  • Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Reports to work on time and as scheduled. Completes work within designated time.
  • Wears identification while on duty; uses the computerized punch time system correctly.
  • Supervises and inspects housekeeping activities throughout the facility
