St. Luke's University Health Network in Allentown, PA seeks an Environmental Services Supervisor to coordinate staff, workloads and performance to meet department goals and the mission of the Environmental Services Department.
You will interview and hire Environmental Services aides, evaluate performance and ensure consistent quality cleaning, safety, and service excellence. The supervisor is on call for emergencies and must meet the education and experience requirements.

The Environmental Services Supervisor position consists in effectively coordinating employees, work and performance expectations in order to comply with the goals and mission of the Environmental Services Department.
Sits for up to 1-3 hours/day; one hour at a time. Stands for 1-8 hours/day; 1 to 4 hours at a time. Walks for up to 7-8 hours/day; 1 to 4 hours at a time. Occasional handling. Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. Occasional carrying up to 25 lbs.; rare up to 50 lbs. Occasional pushing and pulling up to 50 lbs.; rarely up to 75 lbs. Occasionally stoop, bend, squat, kneel and reaches above shoulder level. Rarely climbs ladder up to 10 feet. Hearing as it relates to normal conversation and seeing as it relates to general and near vision.
High School Diploma or G.E.D. Equivalency required.
Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years experience in housekeeping in either a hospital or institution setting and one (1) to two (2) years supervisory experience in housekeeping preferred. Supervisor is subject to on call status for hospital or departmental emergencies.
