Position Details

• Job Title: EVS Specialist
• Hours: Full-Time, Mon-Fri, 6:00pm-2:30am, No weekends
• Location: Suburban Outpatient Pavilion, 2100 Harrisburg Pike, Lancaster, PA

Responsibilities

1. Maintain hospital and property cleanliness, including floors, furniture, carpets, and surfaces following universal precautions.
2. Refinish floors with scrubbing, stripping, and applying finishes.
3. Respond to routine requests via pager.
4. Shampoo furniture and extract carpets as needed.
5. Handle hospital furniture, equipment, and supplies disposal and transfer.
6. Remove and rehang curtains and window treatments.
7. Clean rooms, hallways, stairs, bathrooms, and offices.
8. Report repairs needed for hospital property and equipment.
9. Perform secondary duties such as waste disposal and maintaining equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• At least 1 year of experience in medical housekeeping (preferred)
• Experience operating housekeeping equipment (preferred)
