Job summary

Medford Multicare Center is hiring an Environmental Services Porter on a part-time basis with day and night shifts and every other weekend required. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, families, and staff.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail. You will clean resident rooms and common areas, restock supplies, and follow infection control procedures to ensure a healthy facility.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 pounds throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, buffing & waxing floors, dust, and empty trash throughout the facility.
• Maintain cleanliness in hallways, offices, dining areas, and public spaces.
• Restock housekeeping supplies as needed.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Respond promptly to cleaning requests and spills.
• Work as part of a team to provide a clean, comfortable environment for residents and visitors.
