Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is hiring an Environmental Services Department Manager to lead housekeeping, laundry, and floor care teams in a long-term care facility in Portland, ME.

You will oversee daily operations, maintain safety standards, and collaborate with building administrators to deliver high-quality resident care. You’ll supervise staff, conduct training, and ensure compliance with policies while managing records and equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two years of healthcare housekeeping and supervision preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Supervise housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff across shifts.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Lead staff training, quality control, and in-service sessions.
• Maintain records of expenditures, supplies, and personnel using HCSG software.
• Communicate directives effectively between staff and administrators.
