Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is offering an Environmental Services Manager in Training program in Fayetteville, NC. The paid 12-week program will guide you to manage housekeeping, laundry, and floor care at a long-term care facility, with hands-on and computer-based training.

You will develop oversight skills, learn policies, scheduling, and reporting, and be prepared to lead environmental services in healthcare settings upon completion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Computer skills for records and reports (web-based reporting).
• Willing to meet COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff.
• Learn to ensure compliance with policies and federal/state requirements.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Act as liaison between building occupants/administrators and HCSG staff, effectively communicating directives.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area required
