Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) invites you to join our Environmental Services Manager in Training program, where you will learn to manage housekeeping, laundry, and floor care operations at a long-term care facility through hands-on and computer-based training.

This paid 12-week program develops you into a capable environmental services leader with room to grow, including potential nationwide transfer opportunities and ongoing development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must have computer skills for maintaining records and reports, including web-based reporting.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff.
• Learn to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Act as liaison between occupants/administrators and HCSG staff, communicating directives clearly.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area required
