Job summary

Intermountain Health Delta Community Hospital seeks a proven Environmental Services leader to oversee day-to-day operations, staffing, and resource planning. You will hire, orient, and develop a cohesive team, driving engagement and high cleanliness standards across a 24/7 hospital setting.

You will ensure adherence to Intermountain policies and Joint Commission/OSHA rules, monitor patient satisfaction, and manage expenses to meet financial goals while supporting a safe, sanitary environment.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated leadership experience with coaching and team building.
  • Plan, organize, supervise and delegate for a 24/7 facility.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer skills including word processing and spreadsheets; learn new software.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day EVS and Linen Services operations, staff and resources.
  • Hire, orient, and develop staff; manage performance and engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with Intermountain policies and Joint Commission/OSHA standards.
  • Monitor patient satisfaction and implement plans to improve outcomes.
  • Manage operating expenses to meet financial goals; perform cleaning as needed.

Job Description:Provides leadership, planning and day-to-day coordination for Environmental Services department and Linen Services. Maintains the standards of cleanliness and appearance as established by the facility and regulatory standards.Posting SpecificsPay Rate: Based on ExperienceEssential FunctionsCoordinates department day-to-day operations, staff and resources to ensure hospital standards of cleanliness, sanitation and appearance are met.Responsible for hiring, orienting, staff development, education, and performance management. Builds a cohesive team and promotes employee engagement.Ensures department operates according to Intermountain policies / procedures and other regulatory agencies including Joint Commission and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)Ensures department follows EVS system standard processes, guidelines, and suppliesMonitors customer / patient satisfaction scores. Develops and implements plans to achieve desired outcomesManages operating expenses for Environmental Services and Linen.
