Job Summary

As an Environmental Services Manager, you will oversee departmental operations, coordinate staff tasks, assist in training, and serve as a liaison between administration and departments to ensure high-quality service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage financial data and statistics for the department.
• Monitor unit expenditures and develop the operating budget.
• Coordinate housekeeping with other departments.
• Plan, organize, direct, and supervise departmental functions.
• Establish work standards, policies, and procedures.
• Mentor staff creativity and innovation.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.
• Contribute to facility goals and quality leadership.
• Implement Total Quality Management processes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of supervisory or management experience, preferably in a hospital or senior living facility.
• Strong work ethic, drive, and focus on quality and customer service.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Participative management style.
• Understanding of budgeting, profit, and loss concepts.
• Organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
• Ability to work under stress.
• CRCST or similar sterile processing certification preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
