The Boston Home is looking for a Laundry/Housekeeping Aide to join our Dorchester, MA team. This role is available part-time or full-time and requires weekend coverage. Begin at $19.00/hour and contribute to a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.

The Laundry Aide will manage linens and residents' clothing, ensure items are laundered and sanitized, and return them promptly to resident rooms. You must follow healthcare hygiene regulations with privacy and care.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely operate commercial and residential washers and dryers.

The primary purpose of the Environmental Services Department is to ensure that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe and comfortable manner.

The Laundry Aide manages both facility-owned linens (bedding, towels, tablecloths) and the personal clothing of residents. This role ensures all items are thoroughly laundered, sanitized, and returned to the correct resident rooms promptly. The position requires a compassionate individual who strictly follows healthcare hygiene regulations while demonstrating utmost respect for residents' personal property and privacy. They must be able to safely operate commercial and residential-grade washers and dryers.

These positions require weekend coverage.
