Job summary

GDI Services Inc US is seeking a dependable Laundry Housekeeping worker to maintain clean linens and laundry areas within a healthcare facility. The role focuses on following procedures and keeping a safe, sanitary environment for patients, residents, and staff.

Schedule: Thursday-Sunday, 7:00am-4:00pm. Pay rate: $11.00 per hour. We offer weekly pay, PTO, EAP, employee discounts, and promotion opportunities.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with other crew members.

• Must listen to customer requests and follow supervisor instructions.
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
• Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Empty all soiled linen barrels, sort, and load machines.
• Fold linen processed for use.
• Collect and process soiled bibs and tablecloths from food service.
• Hanging, delivery, and handling personals as needed.
• Keep the laundry area clean and organized; sweep, wipe machines, recheck lint traps.

We are seeking a dependable, detailed oriented, and hardworking Laundry Housekeeping to maintain clean linens, clothing and laundry areas within a healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will follow proper instructions and procedures and maintain a clean, safe and sanitary environment for patients, residents and staff.

Schedule Hours: Thursday-Sunday (7:00am-4:00pm)

Job Duties:

• Empty all soiled linen barrels from both Nurses Stations, sort, and load machines.
• Fold any/all linen processed.
• Collect and process soiled bibs and tablecloths from food service.
• Personals processing, hanging and delivery.
• Clean Laundry Area: sweep floors thoroughly (underneath clean linen shelving), wipe down all machines (washers and dryers), recheck lint traps and thoroughly sweep out, straighten up clean linen on shelves and laundry area.
