Job summary

GDI, Inc. is seeking a Laundry Attendant to support our facility services team in North Carolina.

You will empty soiled linen barrels from Nurses Stations, sort items, load machines, fold linen, and handle bibs and tablecloths from food service, working in a busy healthcare environment. The role requires good time management, teamwork, and the ability to follow supervisor instructions with reliability and punctual attendance.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with other crew members.
• Good time management and attention to detail.
• Must be able to listen to customer requests and follow supervisor instructions.
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
• Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Empty all soiled linen barrels from both Nurses Stations, sort, and load machines.
• Fold any/all linen processed.
• Collect and process soiled bibs and tablecloths from food service.
• Personals processing, hanging and delivery.
• Clean Laundry Area: sweep floors thoroughly, wipe down machines, recheck lint traps, and straighten shelves.

Job Duties:

• Empty all soiled linen barrels from both Nurses Stations, sort, and load machines.
• Fold any/all linen processed.
• Collect and process soiled bibs and tablecloths from food service.
• Personals processing, hanging and delivery.
• Clean Laundry Area: sweep floors thoroughly (underneath clean linen shelving), wipe down all machines (washers and dryers), recheck lint traps and thoroughly sweep out, straighten up clean linen on shelves and laundry area.
