Job description

Environmental Services Technician

Location: Romulus, MI (based in Romulus and surrounding areas). The role will also provide services statewide as needed.

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to assist our Environmental Services Manager in conducting air quality sampling, performing inspections for mold and other issues that might affect indoor air quality/environmental health, and consulting on and managing projects related to the same.

Ideal candidate will possess:

• Knowledge and experience or education in industrial hygiene, environmental health and safety, microbiology, or insurance restoration/reclamation projects.
• Previous training in mold remediation or inspection standards.
• Flexibility with work hours, assignments, and responsibilities.
• Ability to analyze and solve issues based on professional and industry standards.
• Proven skills in client satisfaction and professional communication.
• Current driver’s license and ability to travel without restriction.

Requirements

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Sample collection, interpretation, and report generation.
• Project performance and management.
• Interior/exterior exposure determinations.
• Industrial hygiene consultation & investigation.
• Quality assurance (internal and external) for select jobs.

Note: While this position will be based in our corporate headquarters, daily duties will likely carry this individual throughout the State of Michigan and may include overnight trips on occasion.
