Facility Details

Location: GSS NE Hastings Villa Alf, Hastings, NE
Address: 931 E F St, Hastings, NE 68901, USA
Shift: 8 Hours - Day Shifts
Schedule: Full time, 32 hours/week, includes every other weekend and rotating holidays
Salary Range: $14.00 - $17.00/hour

Job Summary

The Environmental Services Technician maintains a safe and sanitary environment by following infection control and safety guidelines. Responsibilities include cleaning patient/resident areas, hallways, restrooms, and other facilities using appropriate tools and techniques. Must wear protective equipment and keep supplies well-stocked. Access to technology such as pagers may be required. Physical activities involve lifting up to 50 lbs, walking, and standing for most of the shift. Work hours vary based on patient/resident needs, including possible overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning materials, equipment, and chemicals helpful.
• Strong customer service and communication skills required.
• Previous healthcare custodial experience preferred.
