An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Environmental Services professional to ensure cleanliness and sanitation within the facility. This role involves performing major cleaning tasks, using specialized equipment, and maintaining a neat environment. Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have the ability to follow instructions. Performs major cleaning and refinishing functions in accordance with the standard procedures of the Environmental Services Department. Uses cleaning devices such as automatic floor equipment, 20' roto, commercial vacuums, 24 oz. wet mops, wringers, and other necessary equipment, tools, and supplies. Cleans and services building areas following established procedures. Moves furniture and supplies within the hospital and performs various Environmental Services duties to maintain a neat, orderly, and sanitary environment. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: HS diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to follow written and oral instructions. A floor finisher should possess some skills and mechanical aptitude to detect equipment malfunctions for safety of self and others. Completion of the department's training program is expected during the probationary period to meet the job's minimum requirements.
