Job Description

The EVS Worker cleans and maintains assigned area(s) to meet customer, client, and patient satisfaction. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including aligning with OSHA, state/local, federal, and Aramark regulations.
• Performs cleaning and sanitizing of patient/resident rooms, including vacuuming, dusting, bed making, and waste removal. Cleans restrooms following infection control procedures.
• Maintains and cleans housekeeping equipment accurately.
• Cleans assigned areas to meet Aramark and client standards.
• Follows procedures for trash storage, disposal, and transportation.
• Reports maintenance concerns via work order requests.
• Provides friendly, efficient customer service and adapts to customer needs.
• Secures the facility by locking/unlocking doors as required.
• Ensures security of company assets.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the manager.
