Job summary

Aramark Corporation is seeking an Environmental Services Worker at Caprock Medical Center to maintain a clean, safe healthcare environment and support infection prevention and patient safety. The role offers an $18.00 hourly wage, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for career growth within Aramark Nexus.

Responsibilities include cleaning patient rooms, adhering to safety and infection control standards, and assisting with facility security and waste disposal.

Qualifications

• Previous EVS, custodial, janitorial or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Knowledge of infection prevention practices preferred.
• Prior healthcare, clinic, hospital, or medical facility cleaning experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including OSHA, state/local, federal, and Aramark regulations.
• Performs cleaning and sanitizing of patient/resident rooms, including vacuuming, dusting, bed making, and waste removal; cleans restrooms following infection control procedures.
• Maintains and cleans housekeeping equipment.
• Cleans assigned areas to Aramark and client standards and requirements.
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas.
• Reports maintenance concerns via work orders to appropriate personnel.
• Maintains friendly, efficient customer service toward customers, clients, patients, and co-workers; adapts to customer needs.
• Secures the facility and ensures building is locked/unlocked as required.
• Ensures security of company assets.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

The Environmental Services (EVS) Worker is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, safe, and infection-free healthcare environment within the Caprock Medical Center. This position plays a critical role in infection prevention and patient safety.

Job Responsibilities

• Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including aligning with OSHA, state/local, federal, and Aramark regulations
• Performs cleaning and sanitizing of patient / resident rooms that may include vacuuming, high and low dusting, bed making and stripping, and removal of general and hazardous waste. Cleans restrooms following proper infection control procedures.
• Accurately maintains and cleans housekeeping equipment
• Cleans assigned areas to Aramark and client standards and requirements
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas
• Reports maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel
• Maintains friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, patients, and co-workers. Is adaptable to customer needs.
• Secures the facility, ensuring building is locked/unlocked as required
• Ensures security of company assets
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager
