Total Cleaning in Miami is seeking an EVS Supervisor who will supervise and coordinate activities of cleaning specialists in diverse medical facilities under the Area Manager. The role starts immediately; you will schedule, inspect, train, and cover for staff as needed.

You will ensure quality, safety, and adherence to contract specs, report issues, manage timesheets, maintain supplies, and assist HR and Operations on safety and staffing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 2 years of EVS supervision experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform daily inspections and ensure high-quality work.
• Provide initial and site training to EVS staff.
• Work side by side with EVS cleaning specialists when required.
• Cover for EVS cleaning specialists during absenteeism.

• Check cleaning equipment and supplies during inspections.
• Ensure service is completed in each account under supervision.
• Provide written reports on quality, attendance, appearance, and issues.
• Maintain inventory of supplies in each account and assist budget.
• Review timesheet records daily; monitor exception reports.
• Coordinate special projects with Area Manager.
• Ensure all employees are oriented and trained before starting work.
• Assist Area Manager in hiring, terminating, and transferring employees.

Basic Function: Under the Area Manager's direction, supervises and coordinates activities of EVS cleaning specialists engaged in cleaning and maintaining diverse medical facilities. START IMMEDIATELY - Cleaner with Janitorial Experience.

Schedule and Location: Miami and Broward Area - Monday through Friday 4pm-12am (40 hours Weekly) Alternative weekends.

Major Responsibilities:

• Report to the Area Manager, obtain job assignments for every evening, and report any issues that need to be addressed from the previous work night.
• Perform daily routine inspections and follow up to ensure immediate corrections, and that the staff maintains the highest level of quality in all the accounts.
• Provide initial and job site training to EVS cleaning specialists. After the initial training has been completed satisfactorily, the EVS cleaning specialist is assigned specific job duties or a combination of work duties that will be his/her responsibilities, based on requirements for each specific job site.
• Work side by side with EVS cleaning specialists when required.
• Cover for EVS cleaning specialists when out due to absenteeism.
• On occasion, deliver supplies to small accounts.
• Check cleaning equipment and supplies when inspecting accounts.
• Make sure the service is completed in each account under his/her supervision.
• Make recommendations and provide written reports to Area Managers such as poor-quality workmanship, attendance, appearance (uniform), and others.
• Communicate professionally and provides very detailed information, responding immediately to the problems or suggestions at any time.
• Improve the quality of service by hiring, training, cross-training, developing, and directing EVS cleaning specialists.
• Ensure compliance with contract specifications.
• Keep inventory of supplies in each account.
• Assist Area Manager to maintain equipment and repair budget.
• Review timesheet records daily. Monitor exception report daily.
• Coordinate special projects with Area Manager.
• Ensure all employees are oriented and trained before beginning work.
• Assist the Area Manager in hiring, terminating, and transferring employees.
• Complete all requested paperwork on a timely basis.
• Respond with a sense of urgency to customer and/or company/employer requests.
• Work with and report to the HR Department regarding any employee issues or problems.
• Maintain a safe work environment for all employees by promoting safe work habits.
• Hold safety meetings, document each meeting held and who attended.
• Ensure that all employees are wearing and using uniforms and ID badges, and, if required, safety belts, safety glasses, safety shoes, and gloves while working on wet floors or suspicious garbage; following all safety guidelines.
• Inspect equipment and ensure that it is in good condition.
• Inspect and make sure that janitor closets are neat and organized.
• Inspect and make sure that all chemical bottles are properly labeled.
• Report to and work with the HR Department and Operations Department regarding any safety issues or incidents.
• Prepare accounts for all inspections in advance.
• Keep management informed always.
• Supports the management team at Total Cleaning.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 2 years of EVS supervision experience.
• Bilingual skills in English/Spanish preferred.
