Job summary

Desert Parkway is seeking an EVS Aide to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors in our Las Vegas facility. You will sanitize patient rooms, restrooms, and common areas while following infection control protocols.

The role requires attention to detail, basic English communication, and the ability to stand for extended periods. Schedule is one or two days per week as needed; a 401K retirement plan is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year housekeeping experience required, preferably in a hospital or medical setting.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Strong attention to detail and physical stamina.
• Knowledge of cleaning and disinfectant products.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces, restrooms, patient rooms, and public areas according to hospital standards.
• Properly handle and dispose of biohazardous and regular waste.
• Operate specialized floor cleaning equipment, such as buffers and vacuums.
• Follow all safety, Joint Commission/CMS regulations, and infection control protocols.
• Ensure EVS closets and equipment are clean, organized, and secure.
