Job summary

Desert Parkway Behavioral Healthcare Hospital is seeking an EVS Aide to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. You will disinfect patient rooms and common areas, dispose of waste per protocol, and operate floor cleaning equipment in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role requires 1 year of housekeeping experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and strong attention to detail with good English communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year housekeeping experience required, preferably in a hospital or medical setting.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Strong attention to detail and physical stamina.
• Knowledge of cleaning and disinfectant products.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces, restrooms, patient rooms, and public areas according to hospital standards.
• Properly handle and dispose of biohazardous and regular waste.
• Operate specialized floor cleaning equipment, such as buffers and vacuums.
• Follow all safety, Joint Commission/CMS regulations, and infection control protocols.
• Ensure EVS closets and equipment are clean, organized, and secure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces, restrooms, patient rooms, and public areas according to hospital standards.
• Properly handle and dispose of biohazardous and regular waste.
• Operate specialized floor cleaning equipment, such as buffers and vacuums.
• Follow all safety, Joint Commission/CMS regulations, and infection control protocols.
• Ensure EVS closets and equipment are clean, organized, and secure.

Schedule is 7:00am - 3:30pm
