Job summary

Desert Parkway EVS Aide position seeks to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. You will clean patient rooms and common areas, adhering to infection control protocols and hospital standards.

This role requires a high school diploma (preferred), at least one year of housekeeping experience, and the ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Work is Sunday–Thursday 7:00am–3:30pm with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• One year housekeeping experience required, preferably in a hospital/medical setting.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Strong attention to detail and physical stamina.
• Knowledge of cleaning and disinfectant products.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces, restrooms, patient rooms, and public areas according to hospital standards.
• Properly handle and dispose of biohazardous and regular waste.
• Operate specialized floor cleaning equipment, such as buffers and vacuums.
• Follow all safety, Joint Commission/CMS regulations, and infection control protocols.
• Ensure EVS closets and equipment are clean, organized, and secure.
• Schedule is Sunday- Thursday 7:00am - 3:30pm
