Desert Parkway Behavioral Healthcare Hospital is seeking an EVS Aide to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors. You will disinfect rooms, public areas, and equipment while following infection control protocols and safety guidelines.

The role requires attention to detail, English proficiency, and physical stamina. A full benefits package begins after 30 days of employment, with medical, dental, vision, and retirement options available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year housekeeping experience in hospital/medical setting.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Strong attention to detail and physical stamina.
• Knowledge of cleaning and disinfectant products.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces, restrooms, patient rooms, and public areas according to hospital standards.
• Properly handle and dispose of biohazardous and regular waste.
• Operate specialized floor cleaning equipment, such as buffers and vacuums.
• Follow all safety, Joint Commission/CMS regulations, and infection control protocols.
• Ensure EVS closets and equipment are clean, organized, and secure.
• Schedule is 7:00am - 3:30pm.
