Cedars-Sinai Marina Hospital is seeking an EVS Attendant to maintain a clean and sanitary environment for patients, visitors and staff. You will clean patient rooms, offices and common areas while following Infection Control guidelines and waste disposal policies.

This role requires no diploma, though a High School Diploma/GED is preferred, and a minimum of six months of EVS experience in healthcare is encouraged. Work is on-site with a patient-focused, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• No diploma/degree required, minimum.
• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• 6 months prior EVS experience in healthcare preferred.

Responsabilités

• Maintains premises in a clean and orderly manner following Infection Control practices.
• Cleans offices, patient rooms, common areas, laboratories, procedure rooms, and other areas as assigned.
• Cleans light fixtures, ceilings, walls, floors and furnishings using appropriate methods.
• Replenishes supplies and moves furniture or sets up tables and chairs as needed.
• Follows waste disposal policies and infection control guidelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Cedar-Sinai Marina Hospital is seeking Housekeeping / Janitor / Environmental Service Technician:

The EVS Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the facility to provide a clean, sanitary and attractive environment for patients, visitors and employees. The EVS Attendant must work collaboratively with the hospital staff to efficiently and safely perform all duties. The EVS Attendant must follow all Infection Control guidelines and follow waste disposal policies.

• Maintains premises in a clean and orderly manner in compliance with Infection Control practices.
• Cleans offices, patient rooms, common areas, laboratory, procedure rooms, operating rooms, sterile processing rooms, pharmacy rooms, halls, food services areas and any other areas that may require attention.
• Cleans light fixtures, ceilings, and vents, walls, mattresses, furniture, windows and window coverings, floors and carpets.
• Cleans by dusting, wiping, scrubbing, mopping, vacuuming, sweeping and other techniques.
• Replenishes supplies.
• Moves furniture, hang draperies and sets-up tables and chairs.
• May change sheets and replenish linens.
• Follows waste disposal policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
