Genesis HealthCare, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Services Director to lead housekeeping and laundry operations in a nursing center, ensuring clean, safe, and sanitary environments for residents.

You will plan staffing, supervise staff, manage supplies, and oversee budgets while maintaining compliance with safety and sanitation standards. The role requires a high school diploma with supervisory experience in housekeeping or laundry, and proficiency in English to support patient safety and

• High school degree or equivalent, as well as supervisory experience and experience in housekeeping/laundry.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our patients and visitors and respond to their medical and physical needs

Responsibilities

• Plans and schedules work to be performed occasionally doing the work of employees on a relief basis.
• interviews/hires and orients new staff and reviews/evaluates existing employees' work performance.
• Orders and requisitions supplies through the approved company process.
• Responsible for budget planning and cost control of housekeeping and laundry departments.
• Ensures that the nursing center adheres to the legal, safety, health, fire and sanitation codes by being familiar with his/her role in carrying out the center's fire, safety and disaster plans and by being familiar with current Material Data Safety Sheet (MSDS)

Posted Salary Range
