Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. seeks an Environmental Services Department Manager to oversee housekeeping, laundry, and floor care teams in a long-term care facility. You will ensure a clean, safe, and compliant environment in collaboration with facility leadership.

You will lead staff training, monitor quality, maintain records, and communicate effectively with administrators, residents, and guests while upholding safety and policy standards. Competitive benefits available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Two years of healthcare housekeeping and supervision experience are preferred
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Residency within the service area is required
• Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.
• Perform and lead teams in light housekeeping, heavy housekeeping, and laundry aide duties across varying shifts.
• Lead staff training, quality control, and in-service sessions; ensure timely completion of projects and programs.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment using HCSG software.
• Act as liaison between building occupants/administrators and HCSG staff; communicate directives effectively.

Pay Rate

USD $50,000.00 - USD $55,000.00 /Yr.

Responsibilities

• Use protective gear appropriately; ensure safe use of cleaning solutions and adherence to safety precautions.
• Maintain consistent attendance, punctuality, and timely completion of tasks.
• Represent HCSG positively through courteous interactions with supervisors, co-workers, client staff, residents, and guests.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two years of experience in healthcare housekeeping and supervision preferred.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area required.

Additional Pay Information

Offered hourly rates for this position are determined based on applicant qualifications, experience, education, and the specific needs, aspects, operational considerations, and requirements of the facility serviced.
