Job summary

Ohio State University East Hospital is seeking a Custodial Worker 2 to perform custodial duties under general supervision. The role focuses on advanced cleaning methods and project work to meet health and safety standards.

The position contributes to maintaining safe, healthy environments for patients, students, staff, faculty, and guests across a variety of settings within the Wexner Medical Center.

Qualifications

• Six months custodial work desired and/or equivalent experience.
• Capability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers.
• The ability to read and write common vocabulary is a plus.
• Successful completion of department specific advanced custodian certification testing (examples include Cleaning Management Institute, 3M, S.M.A.R.T. Program, or other certification programs recognized in the cleaning industry as reputable).

You would play a meaningful role in maintaining safe and healthy environments for patients, students, student residents, staff, faculty and/or guests in a variety of settings.
