Job summary

Sodexo at Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, NV seeks a 2nd Shift Environmental Services Operations Manager 1 to lead frontline teams, optimize operations, and deliver patient-focused service in a fast-paced acute care setting.

You will oversee daily EVS operations, guide team development, ensure safety, compliance and cleanliness, and participate in budgeting and resource planning, with accountability for performance evaluations and staffing decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading EVS or custodial teams in fast-paced environments.

Lead EVS operations in a dynamic acute care setting while enhancing patient experience and operational performance.About the jobIn this hands-on leadership role, you will oversee frontline teams to deliver exceptional environmental services that prioritize safety, compliance, and efficiency. You’ll manage daily operations, guide team development, and help maintain high standards that create clean, healthy, and welcoming environments.Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources; typically is responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions. Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization.
