Job summary

Sodexo is seeking an Environmental Services (EVS) Operations Manager 1 to lead daily EVS operations at Adventist Health Clear Lake, a 25-bed critical access hospital in Clearlake, CA.

In this hands-on leadership role, you will oversee frontline teams to deliver safe, clean environments and to meet safety, regulatory, and quality standards.

You’ll manage people, set direction, and allocate resources while contributing to budgeting and continuous improvement in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

In this role, you will oversee a team of EVS professionals, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

About The Job

In this hands-on leadership role, you will oversee frontline teams to deliver exceptional environmental services that prioritize safety, compliance, and efficiency. You'll manage daily operations, guide team development, and help maintain high standards that create clean, healthy, and welcoming environments.

Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources; typically is responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions. Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization. Progression within Career Band reflects acquisition of broad technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process and people leadership capabilities. Accountable for business, functional or operational areas, processes or programs, which may include dotted-line or matrixed management.

Pay Range:

$67405 per year - $87230 per year
