We are seeking an Environmental Services Manager 2 for UNC REX Healthcare located in Raleigh, NC overseeing a team of 25-30 on 2nd Shift (2:30pm start time) with some oversight of 3rd shift as needed (5pm). This role has a 2nd shift rotating weekend.UNC REX is a 500-bed, 1 million square foot healthcare facility that operates within the UNC Health system. The ability to be bilingual in Spanish would assist in managing this workforce.About the jobIn this hands-on leadership role, you’ll oversee frontline environmental services teams to ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency. You’ll play a key part in scheduling, training, and supporting daily operations, helping create a safe and welcoming environment for all.Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources; typically is responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions. Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization.
