Job summary

BayCare Health System in Safety Harbor, FL seeks a full-time Environmental Services Supervisor to coordinate daily operations, supervise staff, and ensure quality in cleaning and discharge procedures. Qualifications

• Minimum: 1 year lead/supervisor experience or 6 months in BayCare Environmental Services Technician Senior.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the daily operations of the environmental services team.
• Observes quality through weekly inspections of areas of responsibility.
• Maintains records of special cleaning and projects.
• Communicates with customers to resolve problems and supports team members.
• Coordinates bed tracking systems to ensure prompt discharge cleaning.
• Organizes receiving and storing of supplies to meet service needs.
• Serves as departmental liaison for internal and external customers.
• In emergencies, performs environmental services tasks.

• Observes the quality of environmental services team members by conducting weekly inspections of areas of responsibility.
• Maintains records of special cleaning, floor and other projects.
• Communicates with customers to resolve problems and supports team members.
• Coordinates bed tracking systems to ensure prompt completion of discharge cleaning.
• Organizes the receiving and storing of supplies to meet service requirements.
• Serves as a departmental liaison for all internal and external customers.
• In emergencies, performs all aspects of the environmental services positions.

Minimum Qualifications

• Required experience is 1 year in a Lead/Supervisor role or 6 months in a BayCare Environmental Services Technician Senior position.
• Preferred certification include CHEST.
• High School or Equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associates.
