Mimbres Memorial Hospital is seeking an Environmental Services Associate for a full-time, on-site role. The job supports the hospital’s mission by maintaining a clean, safe environment for patients and staff around the clock.

Responsibilities include restocking supplies, handling waste, cleaning carts, removing pharmaceutical waste, carpet care, discharge cleaning, and following daily checklists to ensure infection control standards are met.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year janitorial or housekeeping experience preferred.
• 1 year work experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Replenishes room supplies including hand sanitizer and restocks clean linen in assigned department(s) as many times per shift as required by patient census and or procedures.
• Removes biohazard waste, trash and soiled linen from care units and transport to appropriate collection areas according to safe handling procedures in accordance with Infection Control.
• Cleans trash transport carts, linen carts and housekeeping carts including disinfecting wheels as needed.
• Removes pharmaceutical waste according to safe handling procedures.
• Performs carpet care including vacuuming, extracting and bonneting as required.
• Performs discharge (terminal cleaning) and daily patient room cleaning according to check lists to assure compliance with infection control standards.
• Follows pre-established check lists assigned for specific daily duties required of an assigned shift or area.
