Job summary

Hartford HealthCare’s Hospital of Central Connecticut in Plainville is seeking a Housekeeping/Environmental Services team member for a Monday–Friday morning shift. You will maintain a clean and sanitary environment for patients, visitors and staff.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
• Must be able to communicate effectively.
• Basic computer skills are not required but can help with tasks.
• Must be able to read and understand oral and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and sanitizes environment by completing daily, cycle, periodic, and project cleaning.
• Collects, transports and disposes of municipal, recycled and regulated medical waste.
• Transports, moves and delivers furniture, equipment and other hospital items as needed.
• Perform other related duties as required.
