Job summary

Heritage Valley Health System in Beaver, PA is seeking a full-time Environmental Services Technician to maintain a safe, sanitary hospital environment during evening shifts. The role requires reading and following written and verbal instructions, and completing required clearances within 90 days.

Preference given to candidates with a high school diploma or GED and prior health care experience. This position includes weekends and holidays on a rotating basis and offers the stability of full-time

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write, and understand written and verbal instructions.
• Must complete requested cleanings and tasks in a timely, safe manner.
• Clearances must be successfully obtained within 90 days of starting.

Basic Functions: To provide an environment that is safe and sanitary throughout HVHS and support the Environmental Services mission statement of providing quality services the first time, every time.

Qualifications:

Required: Must be able to read and write, and understand written and verbal instructions.

Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.

Preferred: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Two years previous experience in a health care setting.
