Cleveland Clinic’s Environmental Services (EVS) Department is among the highest-ranked in healthcare. As an Environmental Services Area Cleaner, you will help create a safe, comfortable environment for patients. This role is a stepping stone to other careers within EVS and beyond. Work hours for this evening shift are from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.

Ideal candidates will:

• Clean patient rooms, ancillary areas, exam rooms, offices, waiting areas, restrooms, discharge rooms, and other assigned areas.
• Stock supplies such as paper items in patient and exam rooms, and restrooms.
• Follow scripting, policies, and procedures related to patient isolation and all EVS standards.
• Adhere to hospital-wide and departmental safety protocols.
• Complete 1-3 months of on-the-job training to learn policies, cleaning techniques, and proper use of cleaning agents.

Preferred qualifications include:

• High School Diploma or GED.
