Job summary

Masonic Homes of California in Covina is seeking an Environmental Services worker to maintain clean and safe spaces for staff, residents and visitors. You will follow schedules, clean common areas, and resident rooms, and respond to safety needs.

The role requires physical activity, willingness to work nights and weekends for events, and adherence to safety procedures. Prior environmental services experience is preferred, along with CPR/First Aid certification if possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Current CPR and First Aid certificates preferred.
• Experience in a retirement facility or hospital cleanup preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and follow environmental services schedules from supervisor.
• Clean assigned common areas and resident apartments.
• Disinfect areas including restrooms, offices, bedrooms, and dining areas.
• Set up guestroom apartments after guest vacating room.
• Report safety issues and malfunctioning equipment to supervisor.
