Job summary

Massachusetts General Hospital is seeking a dependable onsite cleaner to contribute to a safe, sanitary environment for patients and staff at 66 Blossom Street, Boston.

You will perform floor care, dusting, restroom sanitation, waste handling, and event setup, with shift 6-11 PM, Monday through Friday, 25 hours weekly. High school diploma preferred; 2–3 years hospital cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• S sweeps, mops, waxes, strips, and polishes floors; vacuums and shampoos carpets.
• Dusts and polishes furniture, woodwork, fixtures, and equipment.
• Washes walls, ceilings, woodwork, door panels, windows, sills, blinds, and door glass.
• Empties, cleans, and sanitizes waste receptacles in assigned areas.
• Cleans and sanitizes restroom facilities and fixtures, replenishes supplies.
• Picks up debris around the building.
• Operates stripping/buffing machines.
• Sets up tables, chairs, and equipment for events and activities.
• Identifies and reports building maintenance needs.

Essential Functions
