Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is hiring an Environmental Services Aide I to keep patient, visitor, and staff areas clean and safe. You will perform a variety of cleaning tasks across a busy hospital environment, following established procedures and safety guidelines to maintain a welcoming and sanitary setting.

Starting rate is $18.48 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within our network.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintains all floors surfaces.
• Performs repetitive cleaning operations throughout the work day under specific instructions with little need for individual judgment in working out job problems.
• Works with frequent contact with water and cleaning solutions.
• Moves furniture as required.
• Replaces shower curtains as needed.
• Collects soiled linen and disposes of same linen in laundry chute.
• Adheres to the standards identified in the Medical Center's Organizational Competencies.
