Job summary

Sauk County Health Care Center is seeking an Environmental Services Assistant to help maintain a clean, safe environment for residents and staff. You will support daily housekeeping tasks and contribute to a comfortable living space in our community facility.

We are hiring for 1 Full-Time 40 hours per week and 1 Part-Time 24 hours per week. The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent and at least 18 years of age; long-term care housekeeping experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• At least 18 years of age
• Long-term care housekeeping experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, and return to residents their clothing daily.
• Label clothing.
• Sweep, dust, mop, and wet dust mop all areas of facility.
• Vacuum and shampoo carpets.
• Take out garbage and recyclables to outside receptacle.
• Scour toilets, sink, and bathing facilities.
• Wash windows and mirrors.
• Wash walls of facility.
• Water plants.
• Assist in putting supplies away.
• Move furniture.
• And other duties as assigned.
