• Stock linens throughout the hospital to ensure unit readiness.

Environmental Services Aide Position Summary

We are looking to add an EVS Tech to our team here at Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital of Youngstown. We are newer and growing hospital looking to add a self‑motivated, hardworking professional to our current staff. This position will consist of four, 6-hour shifts weekly with assigned hours varying form AM to late afternoon assignments. Rotating weekends and holidays as needed are a must.

The Environmental Services Aide is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in all areas of the hospital, including patient rooms, public areas, and offices. This role supports infection control and contributes to a positive patient experience through cleanliness and organization.

Essential Functions

• Clean patient rooms, restrooms, lounges, offices, corridors, walls, and windows according to daily schedule.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, scrub, and shine floors; replenish paper and soap products; clean mirrors, sinks, and toilets.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor scrubbers.
