Job summary

Park Nicollet Health Services is seeking an Environmental Services Aide to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff at Methodist Hospital. You’ll contribute to infection prevention by following cleaning protocols and cooperating with care teams.

The role is full-time, night shift (11:45pm–8:15am) with every other weekend, requiring basic knowledge of cleaning equipment, good reading/comprehension and communication skills; prior housekeeping experience

Qualifications

• Equivalent to two years of high school.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment, supplies, computer, and their related uses.
• Able to communicate; read and understand instructions.
• Previous experience in housekeeping.

Position Summary:

The Environmental Services Aide provides clean, comfortable, orderly and satisfying environments for the patients, employees, and Park Nicollet community. The Environmental Services Aide (ESA) promotes sanitary conditions which prevent the spread of infections.

Work Schedule:

FTE 1.0, 40 hours per week, 11:45pm-8:15am every other weekend.

Preferred Qualifications:

Equivalent to two years of high school. Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment, supplies, computer, and their related uses. Able to communicate; read and understand instructions. Previous experience in housekeeping.
